Lincoln Square is an Intermediate Care Facility for adults who are Developmentally Disabled, (ICF/DD). The two-story, Victorian style house is home to fifteen adults, four females and eleven males. There is an upper and lower front porch as well as a large deck in back.
Training and activities are individualized and are based upon the needs and the desires of the individuals receiving services. Lincoln Square focuses on the uniqueness of each person, what each individual wants for their life, and how people with disabilities can have fully inclusive community lives. Services are designed in a coordinated manner through an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), to assist people with disabilities in achieving and maintaining a lifestyle as independent as possible.
Jonesboro is a small, historic community located in Southern Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,853 and Anna had a total population of 5,136. There are many beautiful, recreational parks, rivers and scenic, wooded hills in the area.
